Students feel comfortable discussing issues and topics that are not able deal with in a classroom situation. Often, this is because other pupils were a distraction. In some cases they are embarrassed to appear too keen, or it can simply be that they did not have the confidence to speak up in the classroom.
As a private English tutor I find that students very quickly gain knowledge and, most importantly, confidence. This enables them to transfer their skills, in due course, into the classroom. My private English students are also then able to raise their hands and contribute to the classroom activities. Not only is this magical for them (and for me as a Private English Teacher) but it leads to further student growth. Growth not only enjoyment of English, but also in their command over their learning.
